Each article starts with a reader question and a defined scope. Research is gathered before prose is written, and the page separates established facts, practical interpretation, and areas where evidence is limited. A clear explanation is more useful than a confident claim that cannot be checked.
Sources and images
Primary references are preferred when a topic depends on history, process, or terminology. Images are created or prepared for the site and described with meaningful alternative text. Captions describe what is visible rather than giving instructions to a photographer.
Corrections and links
If an article contains an error, the correction is checked and the page is updated with the smallest useful change. External links are included when they help a reader continue the research. Questions about a source or a correction can be sent to [email protected].
